The staff were amazing and already ready for us once our group arrived! We left for the tour without any delay and were provided with extra information about the area during the tour. There was plenty of time to enjoy the fields, and we loved enjoying the cafe time that was included to enjoy a coffee or tea. It was an amazing experience and the guide Linda provided so much more to make it the best experience!!

It’s definitely 5 star service. The owner Irene is the nicest person and extremely accommodating. I had to reschedule my tour couple of times due to various issues and she was ver kind to work with me. I had to catch my flight right after the tour and she made special arrangements for me YSL make sure I can join the tour and still catch my flight on time. Can’t ask for better service. The tour guide and the tour itself was very fun. Although it was already late in the season, the tour was still very enjoyable to ride through the town and the fields. I will definitely do it again

FAQs

Tulip Bicycle Tour / Tulip Landrover Tour / Small Group Tour

Tulip Bicycle Tour is a guided bicycle tour that takes you around the stunning tulip fields of the Netherlands. It offers an immersive experience, allowing you to witness the beauty of the blooming tulips and other flowers up close, while enjoying a leisurely bike ride.

The duration of the Tulip Bicycle Tour can vary, but it typically lasts around 2-3 hours. During this time, you will pedal through picturesque landscapes, pass by vibrant tulip fields, and learn about the history and cultivation of tulips from a knowledgeable guide.

Tulip Bicycle Tour provides bicycles for the participants, so you do not need to bring your own. The tour operator ensures that the bikes are well-maintained and suitable for the tour route.

Yes, the Tulip Bicycle Tour is suitable for participants of various cycling abilities. The route is designed to be leisurely and accessible, with frequent stops to admire the tulips and take photos. However, basic cycling skills and confidence in riding a bicycle are recommended. When you are not able to cycle, you cannot join the tour.

Children from 1 – 5 years can join the bicycle tour in a children’s seat (cost can be paid at the location). Due to safety reasons, children from 6 – 12 years can not join the tour

The best time to take the Tulip Bicycle Tour is typically during the spring season. We start in March/April with daffodils and hyacinths. Mid-April and early May the tulips are in full bloom. This period offers the most vibrant and colorful displays in the tulip fields, creating a truly enchanting experience during the tour.

Tulipbicycletour can store your luggage for free in a locker box.

Tulip Landrover Tour is a guided tour that allows you to explore the tulip fields of the Netherlands in a Landrover vehicle. It provides a unique and up-close experience, taking you along the colorful landscapes, mills and providing insights into the tulip cultivation process.

Maximum of six people, besides the guide, can join the tour. Pets are not allowed. The Tulip Landrover Tour is not accessible for people in a wheelchair.

Children from 6 years can join Tulip Landrover Tour.

After the tour, you can go back to Amsterdam in various ways. Make use of the bus and train, grab a taxi or make use of the Keukenhof Bus. In our confirmation e-mail, we will explain more about how to get to Lisse and back to Amsterdam.

No, we don’t walk through the tulipfields. The fields are owned by the farmer. He grows his tulips for the bulb export. When people walk through his fields, they can damage the flowers and the bulbs. So they destroy his business. Besides that, people can bring diseases to the fields by walking through it with there dirty shoes. Enjoy the flowers from the sidelines.

Children of that age are not able to cycle for 2,5 hours. It can be too dangerous when they cannot cycle that well. For people with children or that age we offer the tuliplandrovertour.

You can join the landrovertour when you are able to enter the high step of the landrovertour several times yourself. The guide cannot help you with this because of safety reasons.
